It all began with my search of finding the colors that denoted our feelings, many of us are able to show and understand the feelings through the colors. The poem reveals its real colors towards the end and describes the word friendship to its core. The first poem i start blogging with is devoted to all my frns .....
"The Color of friendship"
The day i was born Naive and thrilled,
I opened my tiny eyes in this world,
Thought it was utterly complicated,
Saw the colors so joyous & illuminated.
Through the lessons and my understandings,
I realized all the colors in surroundings,
They soon became synonymous of my feelings,
One day i saw the gleaming color red,
With love my heart had it associated.
i realized the green color all around,
Inside which hope and prosperity was found.
White had the peace as its meaning,
Black had a ooze of darkness gleaming.
Blue striking skies filled the sky above,
Displaying the trustee royal feel it have.
Orange color in its own right had to symbolize,
The happiness like sun's rays as they hit my eyes,
Yellow surrounded my soul with happiness,
Giving me a feeling of joy and gentle caress.
One day of my life near my soul all around,
As a lovely feeling have me surround,
I thought what a feeling I have found,
Like a shiny rainbow on the ground,
With all the colors which it had reeling,
I had to know this soothing feeling.
I was instantly in its compelling grip
It made me rise & took me on a joy trip
It was none other than friendship.
All the illustrious colors of the rainbow,
Were unanimous under its charming glow,
Tears of joy & happiness had to flow,
for the colors of life friend ship had to show.
A ode to all my friends for how they have made me feel in different facets of life love you all.... you are all quintessential part of my life........ So here goes.....
